FOWM volunteers regularly meet to assist with sapling clearance on the Meadow. Managed in cooperation with the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, this vital conservation measure maintains biodiversity and ensures wildflowers and grasses have enough sunlight, space, and nutrients to thrive.

SAPLING CLEARANCE
Warneford Meadow Apple Day is an annual autumn community festival held in the orchard on the east side of the meadow. It’s organised in collaboration with the FOWM and local groups including the Divinity Road Area Residents' Association (DRARA) and Oxford Health NHS Trust. It is free and family-friendly. Come and press the apples and take away fresh, unpasteurised apple juice. All you need to bring is containers. Look out late summer for the date of this year’s Apple Day which we will post here and on the meadow’s notice board.
